What stands out to us in particular about PRODEXPO 2022?
From February 7 to 11, the 30th Exhibition for Food, Beverages, and Food Raw Materials "PRODEXPO" was held in Moscow, at the Expocenter, Central Exhibition Complex.
PRODEXPO is an international platform for manufacturers from Russia and Eastern Europe to show their products. The exhibition features basic food products and delicacies, sports nutrition supplements, halal and kosher products, as well as exotic ingredients. Some manufacturers plan to launch new product lines specifically for PRODEXPO to present their novelty products to other exhibitors and visitors.
More than 120 federal and local retail chains took part in the exhibition. Among those chains was our company, Tamaki.
Our team spent five very fruitful days and held more than 100 meetings with distribution companies and representatives of retail chains. We presented our sauce lines after rebranding: Our Asa Professional and Kasho sauces are currently united under a single brand, Tamaki.
It was the line of our portion-packed products that aroused particular interest among visitors: White ginger, wasabi, soy sauce, and sesame sauce.
Tamaki team had paid special attention to the packaging design. Our specialists had created a neutral design to match the visual identity of any restaurant.
Our white ginger made a real splash and received a lot of positive feedback. The thing is that we produce A-grade ginger, first of a kind in the Russian market. We use the traditional "cold" production method to prepare our ginger. Our pickled ginger is made of fresh and young (rather than boiled/steamed) ginger roots only, therefore it remains crispy and juicy. It should also be noted that we do not use food colorants in the production and thus our ginger remains white.
Our customers duly appreciated our soy sauce dip pots: The containers are very convenient for dipping and the size is perfect for being served with one or two servings of sushi.
Our 20-gram portions of sesame sauce were also acknowledged by visitors. You can rarely see this sauce in small portions, although it is often used as a dressing for vegetable salads and Chuka salad.
Alongside the demonstration of our products, we also had the opportunity to network with chefs who take regular training courses at our Academy. And we unveiled our plans for a new Tamaki master class which will be held on February 28. We are pleased to invite you to join us and take part in the webinar too. At the webinar, you will be making unique and very delicious dishes of Japanese and Pan-Asian cuisine, together with Sergei Mikheev, our brand chef.
